The Oakley Elite Special Forces S.I. Assault Boot, is a particularly lightweight combat boot, and specially designed for military use. Therefore this boot has deliberately no eyelets for the laces that can get caught unintentionally, and there are no metal parts making them optimal for the EOD. The laces are made of Nomex with an Aramide core. The extremely durable rubber sole offers through their special design a secure grip on any terrain, the shock absorbing properties are gentle on the joints. The boot is padded inside with moisture-wicking micro-mesh. The critical heel and toe regions have an additional abrasion resistant urethane protective layer.
